Motorcyclists have apparently found a way to park at a covered Housing Board carpark in Sengkang for free.

Stomper Ken shared videos and photos of riders emerging from the ground floor of Block 315A Anchorvale Link, which is connected to the carpark, instead of through the carpark gantry

"It has been ongoing for many years," claimed the Stomper.

"There are actually two gantries, but these motorcyclist like to use this pedestrian access to the car park so they can avoid paying carpark fees.

"The nearest proper carpark entrance and exit are about 50m away.

"How we wish car owners can do the same thing."

The Stomper said that he has informed the authorities, but no action has been taken.

He added: "To make matters worse, the motorcyclists make very loud noises and come so close to the residential units when they get in and out of the carpark, disturbing the peace in our neighbourhood, especially at night.

"We feel very helpless and angry."

Stomp has reached out to Sengkang Town Council and HDB for more info.

Last month, Stomp reported that motorcyclists were riding on the footpath to bypass the parking gantry outside the Marsiling Food Centre and Market.

Another Stomper said: "Actually, a lot of places also have this problem. Jurong West also have such things going on."
