A 56-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after an accident along Sengkang East Road towards Punggol Way on March 6.

Stomper D shared a video of the incident, which he said happened near Sengkang General Hospital at around 7pm.

The Stomper said the motorcycle appeared to belong to a GrabFood delivery rider.

The footage shows a motorcycle lying on its side in the middle of the road, with traffic building up behind it.

A man is seen attending to the motorcyclist, who is lying on the road beside the fallen bike.

The rider appears to be wearing a green GrabFood shirt and a Grab delivery bag is attached to the rear of the motorcycle.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident involving a car, a minibus and a motorcycle at about 7.05pm.

"A 56-year-old male motorcyclist was conveyed conscious to the hospital and is assisting with investigations," a police spokesperson said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
