Motorcyclist sent flying after getting hit by car in Yishun

A 28-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to a hospital following an accident involving a car in Yishun.

A dark-coloured sedan ran into a motorcycle making a right turn along Yishun Avenue 8 towards Admiralty Road East on March 12 at about 7.40am.

In a video posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page on March 13, the car can be seen violently crashing into the motorcyclist, sending him flying alongside debris.

Two nearby motorcyclists are seen getting off their bikes to assist the injured rider.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said a 31-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations.

The motorcyclist was conscious when he was taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
