Motorcyclist killed in Loyang Way accident, man arrested for careless driving causing death
A 31-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident with a car at the junction of Loyang Way and Loyang Lane on Jan 24.
The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp they were alerted to the accident at around 6.40am.
The male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic.
"A 55-year-old male car driver was arrested for careless driving causing death," police added.
Stomper Khayzan shared photos showing a police tent at the scene. A motorcycle can be seen lying on its side on the road, surrounded by debris.
Police investigations are ongoing.
