Motorcyclist falls and spins on road after accident with car along TPE
A 24-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in an accident with a car along the Tampines Expressway (TPE) towards the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) on June 27.
Stomper Rohaizat alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a video showing what happened.
In footage taken from the rear camera of the car involved, the rider is seen accelerating and attempting to overtake the vehicle in the right-most lane.
Upon impact, he and his motorcycle are sent spinning and skidding along the road with debris flying everywhere.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 11.51pm.
The 24-year-old male motorcyclist was conscious when taken to Changi General Hospital, a police spokesman said.
Police investigations are ongoing.
