Motorcyclist caught making video call and 'taking in the views' while riding in Changi
A motorcyclist was spotted riding with one hand while holding his mobile phone in the other at Upper Changi Road North on March 31.
Stomper Lau Lau alerted Stomp to a video of the incident which was contributed to SG Road Vigilante.
The concerned observer shared footage of the rider seemingly engaged in a video call at about 12.15pm.
"Rider riding with one hand, holding his mobile phone in his other, and doing a video call as he is riding," the contributor said.
"He is even moving his mobile phone from side to side to take in the views."
It is illegal for drivers to hold any type of mobile device while driving.
First-time offenders can be jailed for up to six months and fined up to $1,000. The maximum penalty is double for repeat offenders.
