Monkey eats live chicken at Windsor Nature Park
A Stomper was shocked to come across a monkey feasting on a live chicken at Windsor Nature Park on Sunday afternoon (May 2).
Stomper Kyaw Swar Tun, a photographer, shared with Stomp vivid photos and a video of the monkey eating the bird.
In the video, the monkey is seen relishing his meal while surrounded by other long-tailed macaques. It does not look interested in sharing.
"I was shocked because this is the first time I've seen this," the Stomper said.
Although the sight is unusual, monkeys are known to be omnivores that eat both plants and animals.
