A man was seen lying motionless at a bus stop at Upper Cross Street in Chinatown on Nov 9.

Stomper Mike alerted Stomp to the incident.

"I saw a man fall at the bus stop and there was no response from him," the Stomper recounted.

"Some men tried to wake him up but were not successful.

"I called the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and police, who later contacted me to confirm the location and said they were on the way.

"I left when my bus arrived."

In a photo shared by the Stomper, a man dressed in black is seen lying on the ground beside a seat at the bus stop, with a phone next to him and a couple of plastic bags at his feet.

In response to a Stomp query, the SCDF said they received a call for assistance at 5.55pm.

"SCDF assessed one person for minor injuries, but the person declined to be sent to the hospital," an SCDF spokesperson said.
