Two men allegedly got into a dispute over seating arrangements at 20 Marsiling Lane Market and Food Centre on Sunday morning (April 28).

Responding to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a case of rash act at 10.42am and investigations are ongoing.

Mdm Zhang, a 65-year-old retiree, told Shin Min Daily News that she was at the hawker centre at around 10am when she heard a commotion.

She said: "A man in a blue shirt and his wife were seated at a table with a man in a yellow shirt and his wife. I heard that they were fighting over the table."

According to Mdm Zhang, both parties refused to give in and got into a heated argument.
