A commuter was caught on camera shouting and being restrained by other passengers when the train stopped at Outram MRT station.

Stomper Jacque shared a brief three-second video of the incident on the East-West Line on Nov 1 at 12.48pm.

In the video, the man can be seen through the open train doors being held back from attacking a passenger wearing a backpack.

Several onlookers were on the platform as the man yelled what sounded like a vulgarity before the doors closed.

"It happened on the green line towards Tuas," said the Stomper.

"I heard people start shouting inside the train on the opposite track. Then I saw two guys fighting. At first, I panicked. so I did not manage to take a full video."

Stomp has contacted SMRT for more info.
