A car crashed into a pedestrian at 340 Geylang Road towards Kallang Road on March 10.

The police told Stomp they were alerted to the accident at around 10:10am.

"A 48-year-old male car driver and a 44-year-old male pedestrian were conveyed conscious to the hospital," a police spokesperson said.

Stompers Michael and Grace alerted Stomp to videos posted online of the aftermath of the accident, showing the car on a walkway.

The white Mazda 3 appears to have uprooted a tree and damaged a distribution box as well.

Its bonnet was badly dented and its airbag was deployed.

The driver was seen sitting with his legs extended out of the car while paramedics attended to a bleeding man lying in front of the vehicle.

A woman with blonde hair was seen holding the injured man's wrist as onlookers gathered at the scene.

Police investigations are ongoing.
