Man lauded for leaving van to help elderly man struggling with loaded trolley in Woodlands
A delivery van passenger quickly sprung into action after seeing an elderly man in need of assistance.
The act of kindness, which occurred on March 29 at Woodlands Avenue 4, was captured in a Facebook video.
In the video, the elderly man can be seen struggling to move a loaded trolley across the road onto the pedestrian walkway.
Noticing the situation, a van stops before the turn and a thoughtful passenger alights without hesitation to help the man.
Together, they push the trolley onto the pedestrian walkway.
Right after, the elderly man points down the pavement and the passenger helps to push the trolley accordingly.
The video ends with the van turning into the HDB drop-off point.
Netizens praised the man's noble act, calling him a "kind hearted soul".
