Man doesn't respond after being found lying at foot of staircase outside Pioneer MRT station
A man was found lying at the foot of a staircase in Jurong West on the night of Oct 26.
Stomper Tom said he came across the man at Exit A of Pioneer MRT station at around 11.35pm.
Tom recounted: "I was actually very tired and on my way home, but I couldn't ignore him and felt that I needed to do something.
"I tried waking him but he did not respond, so I called the police and ambulance."
Photos shared by Tom show the man, who was in a t-shirt, shorts and slippers, sprawled out at the foot of the staircase.
The man was conscious and can be seen seated at a bus stop when the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) arrived.
SCDF told Stomp that it received a call for assistance at 31 Jurong West Street 63 at 11.35pm. One person was assessed for minor injuries but declined to be sent to hospital.
