Diner disgusted to find insect after almost finishing his ban mian soup from hospital foodcourt stall
A diner was disgusted to find an insect after almost finishing his ban mian soup at the Healthy Kopitiam foodcourt in Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Sharing photos of a tiny drowned insect on the edge of the bowl, Stomper Francis said the incident happened on May 23 when he was having lunch.
"After almost finishing the soup, something caught my attention," recounted the Stomper.
"I realised an insect was in my bowl, a small insect that resembled a dead mosquito. How disgusting!"
He said he would have to reconsider whether he would go back there.
"Better think twice next time before I patronise the same stall again," said the Stomper.

Recently, Stomp reported a woman found a live caterpillar wriggling in her chicken rice at the Cantine by Kopitiam in Jurong Point.
If you have concerns about food safety practices by food operators, you should report it to the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) via the agency's online feedback form.
SFA said it will investigate all feedback alleging poor food safety practices.
As part of the enquiry and gathering of evidence, SFA may engage the feedback provider for more details and will not hesitate to take enforcement action if sufficient evidence has been obtained.
The Stomper said he did not report the incident to the SFA.
