Man crawls outside Yishun flat and takes sandals -- but returns them after spotting CCTV

A man was caught on video allegedly attempting to take a pair of sandals from outside a flat in Yishun in the early hours of Aug 25.
Stomper Ziq shared CCTV footage taken just after 5am of a man in a grey T-shirt crawling along the corridor before picking up a pair of sandals placed outside the Stomper's unit.
He walks away with the footwear but appears to notice the newly installed camera.
He then turns back, puts the shoes back in place and leaves the area.
Ziq told Stomp that this was not the first time such incidents had occurred.
"It has happened a few times," he said. "Previously, he took some of our clothes and managed to get away.
"That was before we installed the camera."
The Stomper shared that a police report had been lodged after the earlier incident.
Ziq said he wanted to share the footage so that others would be alert.
"I just want the public to be aware of these kinds of people," he said.
