Some men were caught on camera urinating at Petain Road late on Aug 7 and in the early hours of Aug 8, just metres away from a sign telling people not to relieve themselves there.

Stomper Gloria, who lives in the Jalan Besar neighbourhood, said the incident happened near the corner where Apollo Livehouse Club is located.

"They didn't pee near the plants because there's a sign there," she said. "Instead, they did it further down the road."

In video clips shared by the Stomper, three men are seen searching for a spot to relieve themselves and upon seeing a 'no peeing' sign, cross to the other side of the street.

One of them is subsequently seen tossing a piece of rubbish onto the road.

Later, another man is seen urinating by a wall as his companions, including one waving a Singapore flag, wait for him.

"Please make these human turds famous for peeing and littering," she said.

Gloria shared that such behaviour used to be more common in the past.

"This doesn't happen as frequently as before," she said. "The last time was what I sent you guys earlier this year."

In April 2025, Stomp reported on a video showing a man running to urinate behind a potted plant in the same vicinity.

According to Gloria, the change may be due to the fact that the former KTV lounge at the corner has been replaced by the live music venue.

"From the video, you can also see they didn't pee at the usual place because of the signs," she added. "Guess we will have to put more signs on this side of the road."

Gloria also shared photos of the 'no peeing' signs put up in the area, one of which includes a screenshot of Stomp's earlier report on the issue.

According to the National Environment Agency (NEA), those found urinating or defecating in public will be fined $300. If convicted in court, offenders can be fined up to $1,000.
