Man caught behaving inappropriately with slipper at Bedok North corridor, says he took 'wrong shoes' when confronted
A resident in Bedok North was shocked to discover a man behaving suspiciously with one of his slippers.
The incident occurred along the corridor of Stomper J's home at Bedok North Street 2 on May 22, between 5.03pm and 5.07pm.
"I went to check the camera when I saw him behaving suspiciously," said the Stomper, who submitted the footage to Stomp.
In the video, the man is seen picking up one of J's slippers and pressing it against the front of his pants. He then rubs the slipper with the palm of his hand before putting it back.
Suddenly, the man hears the Stomper's voice speaking to him through the camera.
Looking around in confusion, he begins making apologetic gestures.
The Stomper is heard confronting him: "What are you doing? What are you doing? I'm filming you. I've filmed it."
The man, startled, brings a hand to his forehead and replies: "Sorry, sorry, I took the wrong shoes."
When J tells him that the police have been called, the man puts his hands together in a praying gesture and says repeatedly: "Sorry, sorry, sorry."
The Stomper clarified that he did not actually make a police report, but chose to share the footage to raise awareness.
"I'm not sure if reporting this to the police is of any use, but I want to at least let the public know that someone is doing lewd stuff to others' slippers," he said.
