Man arrested for stealing 18 potted plants, racks and flowerpots from Yishun block

A 42-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stealing potted plants in Yishun.

The police said in a statement that they were alerted to multiple cases of theft of potted plants at Block 418 Yishun Avenue 11 between June 5 and 8.

With the aid of images from police cameras and CCTV footages, officers identified the man and arrested him on June 10.

The stolen items, comprising of 18 potted plants, two plants racks and three flowerpots, were recovered.

The man will be charged in court on June 12 with theft. The offence carries a jail term of up to three years or a fine or both.
