Man arrested for careless driving causing death after pedestrian, 76, killed in Bukit Batok accident
A 76-year-old pedestrian was killed in an accident with a car in Bukit Batok on the evening of July 20.
The 59-year-old car driver was arrested for careless driving causing death, the police told Stomp.

In a Straits Times photo taken later, a blue police tent can be seen placed over the plastic sheets.
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the accident at Bukit Batok West Avenue 6 at about 6pm.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic.
Police investigations are ongoing.
