A shop owner is appealing for a man to return two packs of cigarettes that were allegedly taken from outside her shop in Toa Payoh Central on Feb 15 at about 1.42pm.

Stomper C, the owner of Fedoura Aesthetic Beauty at Block 177 Toa Payoh Central, shared footage of the incident.

She said the Marlboro cigarettes belonged to a friend of one of her staff members and cost $39.80 in total.

"The staff had just bought the cigarettes and placed them on our table," C told Stomp.

"If this man's family members see this, please ask him to return them. If not, we will lodge a police report."

The Stomper added that this was not the first alleged theft in the area.

When a man allegedly took a $38 box of durians from a neighbouring stall last November, she provided CCTV footage that caught him in the act.
