Man caught walking off with $38 box of durians from Toa Payoh stall, seller hopes he returns to pay
A durian seller is hoping a man who allegedly walked off with a box of durians from his stall at Toa Payoh Central will return to make payment.
The incident occurred outside Durian Era Cafe at Block 177 Toa Payoh Central.
The Stomper told Stomp the pre-packed box of durians the man took was priced at $38.
Footage shared with Stomp shows a man browsing the durians before picking up a container and walking away while holding it.
"I'm deciding whether to make a police report," said the seller.
"I hope he comes back to pay for it so it wouldn't involve any criminal case."
