Man allegedly fishes along Punggol Park Connector 'at least 5 nights a week'
A man has been fishing opposite along Punggol Park Connector despite it being a no-fishing zone.
Stomper Tony shared photos taken opposite Block 422B Northshore Drive on June 8, showing the man sitting on a stool to fish.
"If the tide is high, this old man will surely come fishing," the Stomper claimed. "He fishes here at least five nights a week. The best time to see him is at about 7pm to 8pm.
"He even cut away the red rope to fit his bike into the space."

Tony said: "There is a no fishing and no netting sign there, so I went to Punggol Point Police Post and told the police that someone was fishing in a no-fishing area."
However, a day later, Tony spotted the man fishing at the same place again.
The National Parks Board (NParks) states that fishing is not allowed along certain sections of Punggol Park Connector.

Offenders caught violating fishing regulations can face a fine of up to $3,000.
Members of the public should be on the lookout for no fishing signs, and refer to PUB's website to view designated fishing locations.
