Man, 76, taking over car from daughter crashes into wall at Anderson Secondary School polling station

A man, 76, crashed his Byd Atto car into the wall at an Ang Mo Kio polling station on Polling Day and was taken to hospital.

A video of the accident was posted online by SG Road Vigilante.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted at about 3.25pm to the accident at the pickup point of the polling station at Anderson Secondary School.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the man was taking over the car from his daughter, when the car surged forward and crashed into the wall of the school.

He was unconscious when taken to the hospital.

The police added that they do not suspect foul play and investigations are ongoing.
