Fifteen were caught in areas such as Woodlands, Ang Mo Kio, and Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim and their vehicles were impounded, said LTA in a social media post on Oct 6.
"We continue to conduct enforcement operations islandwide with tip-offs from the National Private Hire Vehicle Association and National Taxi Association to protect passenger safety and the interests of licensed drivers," added LTA.
On Oct 3, Senior Minister of State for Transport Sun Xueling posted that 102 vehicles had been impounded since July.
