Loud footsteps, dragging furniture: Condo resident gets polite note basically telling neighbour to shut up
A noise complaint was plastered on a resident's door at a condominium in the eastern region of Singapore.
Stomper Anonymous shared a photo of the note, which was printed out on an A4-sized sheet of paper, placed neatly into a plastic sleeve and stuck on the door.
The note asked the homeowner to "please be mindful of excessive noise levels" during early morning hours, specifically before 7.30am.
It said: "The dragging furniture, loud footsteps, and running noises have been disrupting my sleep for months and it's significantly impacting my daily life."

The note was penned in a polite manner and even stated, "You're welcome to be active and noisy during the day until midnight" and "Thank you for your understanding".
Anonymous told Stomp: "I saw this lovely note on my neighbour's door 😂. It was probably from their downstairs neighbour.
"Talk about the art of politely telling your neighbour to shut up (literally) 😆."
When asked if the note felt justified, Anonymous said: "It's fair enough! The downstairs neighbor is being pretty considerate, they're only asking for quiet in the mornings."
Though quiet hours may vary depending on a condominium's management, the Housing Development Board advises the public to avoid noisy activities, especially during established "quiet hours", between 10.30pm and 7am.
