Residents help woman find her lost parrot at Trevista condo in Toa Payoh
An African grey parrot went missing from a woman's home at Lorong 1 Toa Payoh.
Stomper Irene said her parrot Lola escaped through a hole in the main door's mesh gate on the morning of April 23.
"We are worried sick," she expressed.
On April 27, Irene was informed that the bird had been spotted at Trevista condominium located at Lorong 3 Toa Payoh.
It was seen resting on a bush.
Irene had previously lost another African grey parrot, Max, in 2022.
As of April 28, Lola has been found.
"We managed to get our neighbour's friends who are staying in Trevista to post the parrot in their group chat," Irene explained.
"One of the residents, Ms Piradee, contacted us and helped us watch over her for a few hours as Lola was weak and resting in the roof garden.
"That was before my friend, Ms Elly, helped us to secure her. Now Lola is in her safe hands while we are overseas," she said.
"Ms Piradee is very kind, she literally watches over her."
