Several individuals were seen lying on the ground and litter was scattered across Queen Elizabeth Walk, raising concern among netizens.

Stomper Lim said: "It looks so dirty and ugly. It's disappointing to see Singapore look like that."
Some netizens shared Lim's sentiments, expressing sadness over the state of the historical area.
In 1922, the reclaimed land along the Esplanade was called the Esplanade Park and was renamed Queen Elizabeth Walk, to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth to the British throne on May 30, 1953.
One Instagram user commented: "It's a really sad scene, seeing how my lovely Singapore has become a dump.😢"
Another said: "So disappointing."
Whatever the cause, scenes like these serve as a reminder that although Singapore is known for having high standards of cleanliness, everyone still needs to do their part to keep public spaces tidy and safe.
