Lexus cuts across 6 lanes at Geylang Road junction after driver 'changes mind' on turning right
A white Lexus was caught on camera recklessly cutting across six lanes at a traffic junction along Geylang Road on June 13.
Stomper Eugene sent Stomp dashcam footage of the incident, which occurred at about 11.39am.
He said: "This driving behaviour to save the drivers' own time is utterly selfish. It could easily cost the lives of unsuspecting motorists, especially motorcyclists, who would never expect such reckless behaviour at a traffic junction."
In the video, the Lexus can be seen at the extreme right lane, waiting to turn right onto Paya Lebar Road.
The Stomper explained: "When the traffic light turned green, instead of turning right, the driver changed their mind and started to forcefully filter right across six lanes to eventually turn left onto Guillemard Road.
"It forced me and a taxi driver in the middle lanes to stop.
"Motorists going straight could have crashed into this car as it would have been in their blind spot, and totally unexpected."
