Lau Lup sees his snails mating, but they took so long that he went to sleep

Be warned though -- it's a lengthy process.

Lau Lup, who came across the interesting encounter between his pets on March 26 at around 11.20pm, said: "My aquatic snails bought from the pet shop were caught making love when I was about to switch off the lights and sleep.

"It was a very long process so I did not wait for the whole thing to end as I was tired and working the next day.

"I believe they were at it for at least an hour.

"Have never seen them mate before."
