Lamborghini catches fire on PIE near Loyang flyover
A Lamborghini was seen engulfed in flames on the Pan Island Expressway towards the Tampines Expressway on Sept 24.
Stomper Rath alerted Stomp to the incident and captured a video showing the luxury car parked at the side of the expressway.
Flames and smoke can be seen rising from the rear of the vehicle.
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the fire near the Loyang flyover at about 9.10pm.
It extinguished the fire using a water jet.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Lamborghinis are known for their high-performance engines and striking designs, but their powerful engines can also be prone to overheating if not properly maintained.
