Kind driver selflessly helps lone tortoise cross busy road back to MacRitchie Reservoir
A Stomper caught a heart-warming moment where a man helped a tortoise.
jQuery('.tiktok-embed section').hide();According to Stomper Javier, the tortoise was struggling to cross the road along Upper Thomson Road on March 23 in the afternoon.
Many cars were slowing down and even stopping to wait for it to pass.
Seeing that the tortoise likely needed more help, a driver alighted his vehicle to gently pick up the tortoise, carrying it onto a grass patch on the side of the road.
He shared a video of the incident on his TikTok page.
The Stomper said the tortoise was "probably from a nearby reservoir" as it was quite "big".
He added that it was likely from MacRitchie Reservoir which is located close to the road.
Perhaps the tortoise got lost while taking a walk.
