A long metal piece was allegedly found in a piece of fried chicken from Jollibee on May 18.

Stomper RR had paid $11.10 for the two-piece Chickenjoy with burger steak and rice via Grab from the Bukit Batok outlet of the fried chicken chain.

A screenshot of the order shows that he had also ordered the spaghetti and chicken hotdog.

"I bit into the chicken and I wondered what was that hard sharp metal piece I was chewing on," recounted the Stomper.

"I spat it out and was astonished to see the metal piece. I felt so disgusted, wondering what if I had swallowed it.

"I was very disappointed in Jollibee."

The Stomper called the restaurant and was asked to to contact Grab instead, according to him.

"Ridiculous," he said.

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Food Agency said it is looking into the matter.

Stomp has contacted Jollibee for more info.
