Update on Sept 11:

After the article was published, one of the diners returned to the restaurant and transferred the money to the Stomper.

Original article:

A group of diners allegedly left a restaurant in Jem without paying an $83.93 bill on Sept 8.

So Stomper L, who works in the restaurant, paid for them and does not want his boss to know.

Sharing a photo of the seven male diners at their table, the Stomper said they came in at around 1pm.

"A gang of customers walked into our restaurant and they separated their order into two bills, but only one payment was made," recounted the Stomper, who also shared a photo of the two bills.

One bill was for $37.33 and the other $83.93.

"It was my fault because of my carelessness, I let them pay one bill and missed the other one," said the Stomper.

"I need them to please come back and pay the rest of what they owe."

He added that he does not wish to reveal the name of the restaurant in Jurong East because he doesn't want his boss to find out.

"I hope this will help me get the money back," said the Stomper.
