An injured man was spotted sitting in the middle of a pedestrian crossing at the junction of Upper Serengoon Road and Upper Serangoon View on May 17 at about 3.15pm.

Stomper MK shared a video of the man whose knees were both bloodied, indicating he might have fallen on the road.

He was shaking uncontrollably and appeared to be holding an e-vaporiser in his right hand.

"Passers-by helped him up, but he insisted he was fine and wanted to leave immediately," recounted the Stomper.

"He was still shaking even after he left."

Why was he shaking?

On April 24, the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) was alerted to a girl, 13, behaving erratically while vaping in public outside the state courts.

She was unsteady in gait and appeared to be oblivious of her surroundings, a sign of possible drug intoxication, said HSA.

After identifying her, HSA raided her home and seized one e-vaporiser that was found to contain etomidate, which may cause uncontrollable movement or spasm of muscles.
