Hundreds queue in terribly long line at Jurong Point -- all for sushi that's $1 per plate

Stomper Jet saw a long snaking queue that was over 100 metres long and with at least 150 people outside Sushi Express in Jurong Point yesterday evening (Oct 8).
This is due to a promotion by Sushi Express to celebrate the opening of its latest outlet at the shopping centre, where sushi is going for only $1 per plate from Oct 7 to 9.
Jet told Stomp:
"Witnessed a more than 100-metre line of people in Jurong Point at around 7pm!
"Easily 150 pax standing in line to taste $1 per plate sushi.
Only Singaporeans have the patience."
