Huang Xiaoming quashes rumours of wife's surrogacy with pregnancy photoshoot
Actor Huang Xiaoming obliterated all surrogacy speculations by sharing two photos of him and wife Angelababy in a pregnancy shoot on his Weibo page on Wednesday (April 26).
The 39-year-old actor can be seen smiling and caressing his wife's belly in the sweet photos.
"It's not easy being a mum! All mums are great, I love them", said Huang in his post.
Netizens first started speculating that their baby was carried by a surrogate mother because Angelababy appeared as slim even after giving birth to their son in January.
AsiaOne reports that popular paparazzo blogger Zhuo Wei's response further fuelled rumours: "As far as I know it wasn't, it's a 'biological' child."
However, Huang's official Weibo blog contained a cheeky retort to this comment: "Rumours are rumours. We thank Teacher Zhuo for the clarification in the first half of his sentence, but we do not accept the misleading quotation marks in the second half of his sentence."
The retort also highlighted to Zhuo of the possible repercussions of spreading false information: "If your post is reposted more than 500 times, you have to bear legal responsibility. We really 'love you'."
Angelababy, 28, has reportedly gone back to filming the Chinese edition of Running Man.
Her son was shown to the public for the first time in a promotional clip for this show.
The A-list couple were in a relationship for six years before getting hitched in an extravagant ceremony in October 2015.
