Hong Kong actress Michelle Yim is back in Singapore.

The 69-year-old posted on Instagram on April 26 several photos of herself at the SkyPark Infinity Pool at Marina Bay Sands. "Keep on swimming," Yim wrote in English, before adding in Chinese: "Not stopping."

Yim, who is popularly known as Mai Suet or Mi Xue, also uploaded on April 25 a clip of her playing with the water, with the song Let's Swim In The Pool from Deta Family as the audio.

She arrived in Singapore last week to attend the opening ceremony of A Symphony Of Ink And Soul, a curated selection of artist Lin Lu Zai's recent pieces. The exhibition at Ion Art Gallery runs till April 29.

According to Shin Min Daily News, Yim has been learning painting from Lin for more than 10 years.

The actress told the Chinese-language evening newspaper that she learnt painting from Lin when she came to Singapore to film a drama many years ago. She had taken advantage of a break in filming to do so after she was introduced to the artist by a friend.

Yim has acted in several dramas filmed in Singapore, such as Cash Is King (2002), The Rainbow Connection (2005) and How Are You? (2019).

She is known for playing Huang Rong, the female protagonist in Hong Kong martial arts dramas The Legend Of The Condor Heroes (1976) and The Return Of The Condor Heroes (1976).

A frequent visitor to Singapore, Yim had headlined Melodies And Voices: 60 Years Of Harmony, a community concert held at Gateway Theatre on March 29. She was also in Singapore in October 2024 for The Best Repertoire Of Cantonese Opera held at the same venue.
