Hit-and-run in Queensway: Motorcyclist and pillion rider taken to NUH after accident with car

A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were taken to hospital after an accident with a car in Queensway on Jan 6 morning.

Stomper Johnny shared photos of the accident's aftermath, showing a man lying on the grass verge beside the road and passers-by who stopped to assist.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted at 7.40am to the hit-and-run accident involving a motorcycle and a car on the Queensway slip road towards Farrer Road.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp it was alerted at about 7.45am to the accident near the junction of Queensway and Commonwealth Avenue.

The 27-year-old male motorcyclist and the 30-year-old female pillion were conscious when taken to National University Hospital by SCDF.

Police investigations are ongoing.
