Guy gets caught recording under women's skirts with shoe camera
A man with a camera the size of a nail head in his shoe was caught red-handed and beaten by a crowd for taking upskirt video of a woman in Malaysia.
The 38-year-old woman did not know the suspect had slid his spycamera beneath her dress at a farmer’s market, but some bystanders saw what he was doing and beat him up.
“The camera was connected to his smartphone and he was recording it,” said Kota Setar OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Rozi Jidin, adding that it happened on Saturday.
He said the 39-year-old suspect is an operations assistant in a government-linked company in Alor Setar.
Mohd Rozi said he would be remanded until Wednesday, reports The Star.
The suspect will be investigated under the Penal Code for doing an obscene act in public under Section 294, which is punishable with up to three months’ jail, fine or both, or for using words or gestures to insult a person’s modesty under Section 509, which can lead to a jail term of up to five years, a fine or both.
