Group of cyclists seen riding recklessly at midnight
A group of cyclists has come under fire for riding recklessly along a road in Singapore, with a video of their actions being circulated on social media.
Stomper Andrew alerted Stomp to a video of their actions being circulated on social media.
"I want to share this," he said.
"I've seen this group of riders a few times already riding near Marina Bay Sands and on the West Coast Highway and it's very dangerous.
"They are cutting lanes here and there."
Andrew said he found the group's TikTok account and noted that others had also been sharing the video online.
In the footage, the group of cyclists are seen riding off a flyover and weaving into another lane.
One of them is seen riding with one hand, with his other hand holding a phone and apparently recording his companions.
"I hope Singapore can take action to avoid any accidents," the Stomper added.
According to the Active Mobility Act, cyclists must ride safely and observe all traffic rules. Reckless riding on roads can result in fines or even prosecution in serious cases.
