A Go-Ahead Singapore bus was caught turning right from a left-turn lane and nearly colliding with an e-bike rider.

Stomper Anon sent Stomp a video of the incident which occurred along Pasir Ris Drive 10 at about 9.50am on June 20.

In the video, the bus can be seen stopped at a bus stop on the left side of the road.

The driver then starts filtering into the lane on the right, where the Stomper was riding.

The Stomper gives the driver a quick honk, and the bus continues forward in the left lane, which is left-turn only.

As Anon starts to turn right, the bus can be seen following suit, prompting the Stomper to sound a lengthy honk.

The driver proceeds to drive off, seemingly in the middle of two lanes at a school zone.

Anon said: "It's not the first time bus drivers have driven recklessly."

In response to a Stomp query, a Go-Ahead Singapore spokesperson said: "Go-Ahead Singapore is aware of an incident involving Service 359 on June 20, where the bus was seen making a right turn from the left lane.

"Following our internal investigation, we have identified the bus captain involved and disciplinary action has been taken. The bus captain has also been counselled and reminded to strictly adhere to proper lane discipline when exiting a bus stop.

"Safety remains our top priority, and we will continue to reinforce safe and responsible driving practices across our operations."
