Girl licks fingers after sticking them in drinks machine at KFC Wisteria Mall
A child was seen sticking her finger into a self-dispensing drinks machine at a KFC outlet on Oct 14.
Stomper Bao was shocked as she observed the girl at the eatery in Wisteria Mall.
"She put her fingers into the drinks machine and licked her fingers," said the Stomper.
"She repeated this a few times before moving on to dragging her fingers on spilt beverages on the countertop and in the machine's drain tray.
"She continued putting her fingers into her mouth a few more times before repeating the same actions."
In response to a Stomp query, a KFC spokesperson said feedback is always valued.
"As part of our food safety and hygiene protocols, we clean our self-dispensing drinks machine regularly throughout the day.," the spokesperson said.
"Your feedback has allowed us to re-emphasise this with our restaurant teams."
KFC noted that this was an isolated incident.
"We have always been grateful that our customers, and Singaporeans in general, are respectful and considerate of communal services," the spokesperson added.
