Adults were terrified to look at this kitty, until a 7-year-old girl saved her

When people in Istanbul saw this kitten, they were too frightened of its disfigured appearance to stop and help.

However, this seven-year-old girl found it between garbage cans - starved and malnourished. Instead of shunning it like most people did, she was determined to save it.

According to BoredPanda, the kitty was fed, given proper medicine and its features were even surgically repaired.

Now, the kitty Gülümser, meaning "she who always smiles", is able to lead a different life with its kind and brave owner, instead of roaming the streets aimlessly.
