The police are appealing for the next of kin of a 47-year-old woman who was found dead with her father in their Sengkang flat on Oct 6.
The woman has been identified as Ms Xu Na, a former resident at Block 324D Sengkang East Way, the police said in a statement on Oct 7.
Anyone with information on Ms Xu's next of kin should call the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000 or submit information online at www.police.gov.sg/i-witness.
All information will be kept strictly confidential.
Her father, who also lived in the unit, was found dead at the scene.
According to Shin Min Daily News, the father and daughter had not been seen for about a month before their bodies were discovered at around 1pm in their eighth-floor unit.
The man was found in a bedroom, while his daughter's body was discovered near the main door.
The discovery was made after a resident living directly below their flat noticed a foul odour and liquid leaking from her ceiling early that morning.
Her son told Shin Min that his 70-year-old mother had called him at around 6am to report the issue.
When he arrived at 9am, he tried to clean the sticky red liquid with tissue paper but realised something was amiss when the smell worsened later in the day.

"The more I thought about it, the more I felt something wasn't right, so I decided to call the police," he said.
His mother has since moved in with him temporarily while cleaning arrangements are made.
Police said that they were alerted to the case of unnatural death at 1.35pm. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Neighbours told Shin Min that the pair had kept to themselves and were seldom seen outside their flat.
A neighbour said that the father was quiet and often returned home with two packets of rice, wearing shorts, a cap and a mask.
"I greeted him before, but he ignored me," she said, adding that she last saw him around July and his daughter during Chinese New Year.
Another neighbour, said the daughter was believed to have a mental health condition and was sometimes seen talking or laughing to herself.
"She would clap and sing in front of the elevator," he said.
Police investigations are ongoing.
