It is a problem they face daily.
A Foodpanda rider who works in the downtown area is lamenting the lack of parking space for food delivery riders at Marina Bay Financial Centre.
Stomper JY said that due to the parking issue, several riders were issued summons on July 23
"At Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 3 (MBFC3), the evening peak hours see a high volume of food delivery orders," explained the Stomper.
He said because of the many offices there, it's not uncommon for up to 20 Foodpanda riders to be making deliveries at the same time.

"The problem we face is the lack of designated motorcycle parking spaces in the vicinity. Without a proper parking area, we are often forced to park on the roadside or pavement, which is neither safe nor ideal. Customers usually come down to the lobby to collect their orders, but our parking situation remains a significant concern," said the Stomper.
"For a $7 delivery that takes just five minutes, receiving a $70 summons is a heavy penalty. Many of us are working hard to meet our basic needs, and these fines are a significant burden.

"We cannot avoid delivering to MBFC3, but the current parking situation is causing us considerable stress. If there were a designated area for food delivery riders, we would undoubtedly use it."
He urged the Land Transport Authority, MBFC management and Foodpanda to address this issue quickly.
The Stomper added: "We hope that a solution can be found to accommodate the essential service we provide, ensuring a smoother operation for everyone involved."
Stomp has contacted Raffles Quay Asset Management, which manages MBFC, for more info.
