Fire involving vehicle's engine compartment breaks out in Yishun
A vehicle caught fire at Block 506 Yishun Avenue 4 on Saturday (July 6).
Stompers Kohji and Rosdy alerted Stomp to the incident with photos and videos of the scene.
In the video, firefighters are at the scene with a fire engine, and a ringing sound can also be heard.
Rosdy said to Stomp: "A car caught fire and couple of cars also got damaged because of the flames."
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said: " On July 6, SCDF responded to a vehicle fire at Block 506 Yishun Avenue 4 at about 1.10pm.
"The fire involving the vehicle's engine compartment was extinguished by the SCDF using one compressed air foam backpack and one water jet.
"There were no reported injuries.
"The cause of the fire is under investigation."
