Fire breaks out at Woodlands HDB block
A fire broke out at Block 842 Woodlands Street 82 at about 4.04pm on Monday (Sep 23).
Stomper Yong, who resides in the same block, contributed a photo and a video of the fire's aftermath.
He told Stomp: "I was walking back at about 4.30pm and saw that the fire was already extinguished."
In response to a Stomp query, a Singapore Civil Defence (SCDF) spokesperson said: "SCDF was alerted to an incident at Block 842 Woodlands Street 82 at about 4.04pm on Sep 23.
"The fire was extinguished by SCDF using one water jet.
"The cause of the fire is under investigation.
"There were two people assessed by SCDF paramedics, but later declined to be conveyed to hospital."
