New Year's Day celebrations took a chaotic turn at The Fullerton Hotel in the early hours of Jan 1.

Stomper Selva was at the scene when a heated altercation broke out between two men.

"The silence after the fireworks was disrupted by an endless fight," he said.

Referring to a video he took, Selva said a man wearing white was asked to leave by a group gathered outside the hotel but refused to comply.

A woman is heard repeatedly shouting: "Please stop, stop it, please!"

"The man in white did not leave and instead, charged aggressively towards a man wearing blue," the Stomper said.

"Many tried to intervene but the fight erupted again and again after a few minutes.

"The man in white kept challenging the man in blue to fight."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a case of affray at 1 Fullerton Road at about 2.20am.

"Three men and one woman, aged between 24 and 33, are assisting with investigations," a police spokesperson said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
