Home-grown actress Fann Wong mourned the death of her family's pet rabbit Simone on social media on Sept 30.
"Hop on my little one, thank you for being Zed's sister for nearly six years," the 54-year-old wrote, referring to her 11-year-old son. "Zed always proudly declared Simone as his little sister."
Fann also posted old photos of herself with Simone, as well as snaps of Zed bidding farewell to the rabbit.
"Now it's Ah Gong (Grandpa)'s turn to take care of you," Fann wrote, likely referring to her father, who died at age 81 in 2021. "The smallest paws leave the biggest prints on our hearts."
Fann's husband, Singaporean actor Christopher Lee, commented on the post: "Goodbye, Simone."
Several of their celebrity pals, including actresses Yvonne Lim, Hong Huifang and Chantalle Ng and actor Jeremy Chan, commented on the post with white heart emojis.
Fann was in Fuzhou, China, in late September for the 12th Silk Road International Film Festival, where she presented the Best Actress Award.
