Elderly man taken to hospital after collapsing at Circuit Road
An elderly man was taken to hospital after collapsing near the market and food centre at Block 89 Circuit Road on Wednesday afternoon (Dec 8).
Stomper Peng Kiat alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos he took after paramedics arrived at the scene to tend to the man.
In the photos, the paramedics are sitting on the pavement with the man while one holds an umbrella to shelter him from the sun.
"He fainted and fell," said the Stomper.
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they received a call for assistance at 2.55pm.
"SCDF conveyed a person to Raffles Hospital," an SCDF spokesman said.
